Notes

'Lucina' peony (Paeonia 'Lucina') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ruffled, double flowers open salmon-pink and fade to cream-white and light pink, and the upright stems need no support. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Switchgrass, and Nodding onion.
