Notes

'Ludwigshafen am Rhein' rose (Rosa 'Ludwigshafen am Rhein') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It stays upright and grows about 24 inches tall. Deep pink, fragrant blooms open from late spring into early autumn and draw bees. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1976.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Fountain grass, and Niobe clematis.
