Notes
'Lundeby' Colorado spruce (Picea pungens 'Lundeby') is a tree for specimen planting, accents, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. It grows slowly into a columnar form that reaches 24 to 36 inches tall and 36 inches wide. This evergreen is drought tolerant and keeps its color all year. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Rheingold American arborvitae, Red fescue, and Siberian squill.
