Notes
'Madame Calot' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Madame Calot') is a perennial with fragrant pink flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The blooms open from early to late spring and into early summer. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The plant grows 36 to 39 inches tall and 30 to 36 inches wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Blue sage, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
