Notes

'Madame Hardy' rose (Rosa 'Madame Hardy') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. Light pink blooms are fragrant and open in spring and summer, and bees visit them. Thorns cover the stems, so wear gloves when you prune. Julien-Alexandre Hardy bred it.

Pairs well with Lavender, Foxglove, Ornamental onion, and Cat mint.
