Notes

'Majestic' garlic (Allium sativum 'Majestic') is a vegetable grown for its mild flavor and giant cloves. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Each bulb holds 4 to 5 cloves and stores for 7 to 8 months. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Paul Pospisil developed it in Ontario.

Pairs well with China Town tulip, Mount Hood daffodil, and Dr. Alexander Fleming peony.
