Manchurian apricot (Prunus mandshurica) is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Pink flowers open in early to mid spring. The leaves also turn color in fall. It grows 15 to 20 feet tall and wide, so give it plenty of room.
