Notes

'Manhattan' rose (Rosa 'Manhattan') is a compact shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red blooms open from early to late summer against dark green leaves, and bees visit them. Poulsen Roser introduced it in 1998.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Star Gazer lily.
