'March of Time' tulip (Tulipa 'March of Time') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The red blooms open from early to late spring and reach about 12 inches tall. The outside of each flower is capsicum red striped with turkey red, while the inside is deep orange with a brown black base and yellow anthers. The leaves are mottled.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Little bluestem, and Ernest Markham clematis.
