Notes
'Marcia Stanhope' rose (Rosa 'Marcia Stanhope') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. George Lilley bred it in 1922. The white flowers are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the blooms, and the dense, upright stems have few or no thorns.
Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Jackmanii clematis, Queen of Night tulip, and Oakleaf hydrangea.
