Notes

'Marginata' American century plant (Agave americana 'Marginata') is a succulent for specimen plantings, rock gardens, and accents. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows slowly into a clumping form and blooms in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Evergold sedge, Tuscan Blue rosemary, and Lemon grass.
