Notes

'Marguerite' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Marguerite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pink flowers open in late spring to early summer and have a Japanese form with yellow centers. They are held high above the spreading foliage, so give the plant room to grow.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
