Notes

'Marieke' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Marieke') is a bulb for borders and cut flower arrangements. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. The dark pink-red blooms are fragrant and open from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers, and a second round of bloom can appear in early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Society garlic, and Wallflower.
