Notes

'Mark Alan Carpenter' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Mark Alan Carpenter') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Orange blooms with green throats are fragrant and open in spring and summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Sedge, Pyrethrum, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
