Notes
'Martha' tulip (Tulipa 'Martha') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are crimson carmine and open from early to late spring. Plant it in groups for a bold splash of color in the border. You can also cut the blooms for bouquets and bring that color indoors.
Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Honey Gold peony, and Little bluestem.
