Notes

'Mary Pratte' peony (Paeonia 'Mary Pratte') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Mid pink, cup shaped flowers reach 6 inches wide and hold close to glossy green foliage. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Maurice Ménard bred it.

Pairs well with June hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Queen of Night tulip.
