Notes

'Matterhorn' rose (Rosa 'Matterhorn') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The white blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the glossy, dark green leaves look good all season. David L. Armstrong bred it in 1965.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Prairie dropseed, and Pink Hawaiian Coral peony.
