Notes

'Maxcine Wolfe' peony (Paeonia 'Maxcine Wolfe') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The pink blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Robert William Tischler bred it in 1969.

Pairs well with June hosta, PowWow White coneflower, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
