Notes

'Mayflower' tulip (Tulipa 'Mayflower') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms from early to late spring on stems about 22 inches tall. The tall stems make it a good pick for cutting and for the back of a border. C.G. van Tubergen bred it in 1922.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Honey Gold peony, and Little bluestem.
