Notes

'Meg' rose (Rosa 'Meg') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Apricot single-petaled blooms open from early to late summer and smell sweet. Bees visit the flowers. Dr. A.C.V. Gosset bred it, and Harkness introduced it in 1954.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Green Spice coral bells.
