Notes

'Megiddo' rose (Rosa 'Megiddo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright shrub has large, glossy leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms that appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Douglas L. Gandy bred it in 1971.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Maltese cross, Sweet pepperbush, and Creeping phlox.
