Notes

'Mélissa' rose (Rosa 'Mélissa') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 24 to 28 inches tall and wide. Deep yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn, and bees visit them. Bernard Sauvageot bred it.

Pairs well with Lilac, Niobe clematis, and Queen of Night tulip.
