Notes
'Melody' broccoli (Brassica oleracea 'Melody') is a vegetable for food gardens, borders, and pollinator gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. It ranks among the more cold-hardy crops, and with some winter protection it keeps growing through light freezes. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is grown for tender, flavorful mini broccoli heads. Butterflies and bees visit the spring and summer blooms.
Pairs well with Bouquet dill, Genovese basil, and Pennyroyal.
