Notes

'Melody Maker' rose (Rosa 'Melody Maker') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange-red flowers open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the blooms. Patrick Dickson bred it in 1990.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Little bluestem, and Lilac.
