Notes
'Melrose' tulip (Tulipa 'Melrose') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The blue-pink flowers open from early to late spring. Plants reach about 12 inches tall, so they suit the front of a bed. CPRO-DLO bred it.
Pairs well with Abba tulip, Jack Snipe daffodil, and Armenian grape hyacinth.
