Notes
'Merlin' snowdrop (Galanthus hybridus 'Merlin') is a bulb for woodland gardens, naturalizing, and early spring color. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. The large flowers have inner petals that are almost entirely green with a thin white edge. They often push up through the snow in late winter, over greyish-green foliage. James Allen bred it in 1891.
Pairs well with Dog's tooth violet, Snake Eyes hosta, and Silver Parrot tulip.
