Notes

'Michal' mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata 'Michal') is a fruit tree for the food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. It is grown for fresh eating, and the fruit is one of the easiest mandarins to peel. White flowers open in spring and again in summer.

Pairs well with Sichuan pepper, Dragon tree, Seagrape, and Vetiver.
