Notes

'Midnight Fire' rose (Rosa 'Midnight Fire') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The compact plant stays about 20 inches tall and wide. Its fragrant russet blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn, and bees visit them. Christian Bedard bred it in 2021.

Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
