Notes

'Midsummer' rose (Rosa 'Midsummer') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Orange-red, fragrant blooms open from late spring into early autumn and attract bees. Hans-Jurgen Evers bred it in 2002. Dark green, leathery leaves give the bushy plant a neat look.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Royal Purple smoketree, and Ornamental onion.
