This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium pink, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. It was introduced in 1958 and is a cross of 'Ambassadeur Nemry' and 'Tawny Gold'.

Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Bottlebrush buckeye, and Black-eyed Susan.
