Notes
'Mocha' arctic daisy (Chrysanthemum 'Mocha') is a perennial for borders, mass plantings, and cutting gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun. Its large, semi-double, spider-style blooms come in muted burgundy, lavender-chocolate, and yellow. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Bees visit the blooms late in the season, and you can cut the plants back to 3-4 inches in late fall.
Pairs well with Chocolate cosmos, Fountain grass, and Totally Tangerine dahlia.
