Notes
'Mojave Fuchsia' purslane (Portulaca oleracea 'Mojave Fuchsia') is an annual for borders, containers, and rock gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate and has an erect habit. Bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Melampodium, Double Zahara Fire zinnia, Rock soapwort, and Red fescue.
