Notes

'Monarch Beauty' tulip (Tulipa 'Monarch Beauty') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows about 12 inches tall and blooms in red from early to late spring. The petals show orange and yellow feathering inside, and the leaves have an ivory white edge with a pink glow. J.A. van der Salm bred it.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Shirley Temple peony, and Little bluestem.
