Notes
'Mongolia' tulip (Tulipa 'Mongolia') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are yellow and open from early to late spring. C.G. van Tubergen bred it, so it makes a fine choice if you enjoy older tulips.
Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Nodding onion, Honey Gold peony, and Little bluestem.
