Notes

'Monsella' tulip (Tulipa 'Monsella') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Yellow, fragrant flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 12 inches tall. Bakker Bros. bred it.

Pairs well with Jack Snipe daffodil, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, and Monte Carlo tulip.
