Notes
'Monsieur Dupont' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Monsieur Dupont') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large white double blooms have a yellow glow and bold crimson blotches on the center petals. They open in late spring and carry a strong fragrance on stiff stems.
Pairs well with Iris, Stargazer lily, and Cinnamon fern.
