Notes

'Monte Carlo' rose (Rosa 'Monte Carlo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange blooms open in late spring, return from early to late summer, and finish in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Francis Meilland bred it in 1949.

Pairs well with Feverfew, Indian grass, and Bells of Ireland.
