'Montreux' tulip (Tulipa 'Montreux') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The fragrant yellow-green flowers open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. Hybris bred it.
