Notes
'Monzulzay' winter daphne (Daphne odora 'Monzulzay') is a shrub for containers, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant flowers open in winter and spring and draw bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Salt tolerance makes it a good fit for coastal gardens.
Pairs well with Mondo grass, Cherry laurel, and Anemone.
