Notes

'Moody Blue' rose (Rosa 'Moody Blue') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant flowers show the most lavender in cool weather and turn lavender-pink to pink in summer heat. Bees visit the blooms. Gareth Fryer bred it in 2008.

Pairs well with Spotted beebalm, Jackmanii clematis, and Japanese forest grass.
