Notes
'Moonlight' rose (Rosa 'Moonlight') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Pemberton bred it in 1913. The light yellow blooms are fragrant and attract bees. Small orange-red hips follow the flowers.
Pairs well with Butterfly bush, Stargazer lily, and Joe Pye weed.
