Notes

'Moonsprite' rose (Rosa 'Moonsprite') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its light yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the glossy, dark green leaves stay leathery. Herbert C. Swim bred it in 1956.

Pairs well with Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, Fountain grass, and Patriot hosta.
