Notes

'Mora' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mora') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double red blooms make a bold show in the garden and in a vase. Secor bred it, and it is not yet in general commerce, so it may take some searching to find a plant.

Pairs well with Charles Joly lilac, Little bluestem, and Queen of Night tulip.
