Notes
'Morton' maple (Acer miyabei 'Morton') is a tree for specimen planting and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It reaches 30 to 40 feet tall and wide, so give it plenty of room. Greenish yellow flowers open in mid spring, and the leaves color up in fall.
Pairs well with Serviceberry, Bottlebrush buckeye, and Toad lily.
