Notes

Mountain agave (Agave Montana) is a succulent for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and 47 to 59 inches wide, so give it room. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Lipstick echeveria, Stonecrop, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
