Notes

'Muchacha' rose (Rosa 'Muchacha') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Alain Meilland bred it in 1979. The fragrant orange-red blooms appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Stems are bristly, so wear gloves when you prune.

Pairs well with Fountain grass, Mexican hat, and The President clematis.
