Notes

'Multiflora' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Multiflora') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, light pink blooms open in early to mid spring and have a ball form. Strong stems hold up to eleven buds each. Ben Gilbertson bred it, and it grows about 26 inches tall.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
