Notes

'Myersii' sprenger's asparagus fern (Asparagus densiflorus 'Myersii') is a perennial for borders, containers, ground cover, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. Its arching, evergreen stems reach 12 to 36 inches tall and spread 36 to 48 inches. It sits low on the menu for deer. Birds visit the plant.

Pairs well with Kimberly queen fern, Angel wings, and Staghorn fern.
