Notes
'Nebraska' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Nebraska') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The tall plant bears large, double flowers in light pink with cherry-red flares. You can cut the blooms for a vase. Goos & Koenemann introduced it in 1910.
Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Solomon's seal, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
