Notes
'Neptune' larkspur (Delphinium 'Neptune') is a perennial for mid borders, small spaces, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and moist soil. Its royal purple flowers have white centers and bloom on upright stems. Multiple spires follow the main spike, so the bloom season runs long. You can cut it back to the ground after flowering to encourage a late rebloom.
Pairs well with Purple lovegrass, Queeny Lemon Peach zinnia, and Interrupted fern.
